T-REX “ONE LAST CAST” TOURNAMENT PHOTO RELEASE RULES 2023
- Photo Release format. Fish need NOT be of legal slot size.
- Your submitted measurement will be the total length (inches) of your largest catch per species. Only 1 fish per species may be submitted.
- At least 1 of the 3 species must be submitted to qualify for judging.
- Your catch must be measured on the official T-Rex Ruler. The ruler must be visible in the photo and taken from straight above, not at an angle.
- Photo format:
- Bend the ruler end to 90 degrees to form a “book end” place the nose of the fish firmly against the bookend with fish laid straight down on the ruler. Pinch the tail for maximum length.
- Photo format:
- All measurements will be rounded to the nearest 1⁄4” line.
- In the event of a tie, judges will reevaluate photos for a more precise measurement. If the judges are unable to determine a clear winner based on measurement, the team to check in first will win the tie breaker.
- T-Rex rulers are 42” in length. If you catch a fish longer than 42” you will need to place an additional measuring device at the end on the T-Rex ruler to add the additional inches needed. If an additional measuring device is needed you will be required to present that device to the Judges, they will compare your measuring device to the T-Rex ruler to authenticate total length.
- MEASURE CORRECTLY, IMPROPER MEASUREMENT WILL BE PENALIZED 1⁄2” ex: book end bent more than 90 degrees, or fish not touching book end
- Take photos with a device that can be zoomed in or enlarged for a more accurate measurement.
